Casey Richter graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa in 2007. She passed her CPA exam during her time at University, and went on to work at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Auditing practice. After gaining valuable experience auditing in the Technology, Manufacturing, and Healthcare sectors, she decided to leave the cold winters of Minnesota and made a move to Denver, CO. She joined a small Accounting & Finance team for a telecommunications start-up company, that was eventually sold to Cisco Systems. Her desire to work on multiple projects and in different locations naturally led to a consultant role. She worked on projects with Ernst & Young, GCI Communications, and Costa Rica Rios over the next 3 years until she decided to call Vail Valley home, and accepted a Controller position for Aspen Grove Capital, a multi-family office working with high net worth families. She joined Capital Preservation Services in 2015 and is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado.
In her free time, Casey is an avid explorer and can often be found in another country or on the Colorado trails – mountain biking, trail running or multi-day hiking with her significant other.
